chair d
designed during my semester abroad at the danish institute for study abroad in copenhagen, denmark.
designed from bamboo plywood, chair d drew inspiration from the most archaic form of danish design– the viking ship– and the ships' identities as objects of wood and fabric. ultimately, chair d's silhouette aims to be as graphic, expressive, and clear as the letter "d".
